ICT IN PRACTICE AWARDS – final
call for nominations - closing date: 25th July 2003
This is the final call for nominations for Becta’s ICT in
Practice Awards. Don’t delay – nominate today!
Each winner will receive £2,500, with £2,500 going
to their school or organisation. Runners up will receive £500,
with £500 going to their school or organisation. The nominations
will be open until 25th July 2003. Further details, including information

AN EXPERT – ‘WHAT IS EFFECTIVE PRACTICE
IN ICT?’
During July, Ask an Expert will be looking at the question ‘what
is effective practice in ICT?’ Experts on hand to contribute
to the debate are practitioners from a variety of backgrounds,
including inclusion, teaching and leadership and are representative
of the foundation, primary and secondary sectors. All the experts

DIGITAL VIDEO AWARDS – closing
date: 31st October 2003 Becta is pleased to announce the launch of the Digital Video Awards.
Now in their second year, the Awards aim to celebrate excellence
in the use of the digital video medium, and to inspire pupils,
students and teachers to exploit the full potential of this rich
and exciting technology. Prizes include eMacs, digital video cameras
